Introducing Clean Door Systems - on the front lines of fighting the spread of germs in public places.
If you leave your house and go to any public facility – which most of us do from time to time – you’ll encounter germs. It’s a simple fact of life.
The good news is you don’t have to obsess about germs because there are plenty of common sense ways to protect yourself and prevent their spread. One of the most simple and effective preventive steps is washing your hands.
The bad news is … Well, let’s say you’re visiting your Uncle Ray in the hospital and you go to the public restroom. You carefully wash your hands before leaving the restroom. Germ-free, right? Unfortunately, over 33 percent of men and women do not wash their hands after using a public toilet. So if you touched a door handle or panel as you exited the restroom, you may have picked up someone else’s germs and undone your good personal hygiene.
A better idea
That’s where we come in.
We decided to do a little something about that particular germ-spreading problem. So we developed a door that lets people exit restrooms without using their hands (and passing germs).
Actually it’s an automatic opening system that gets you out of private (i.e. locking) public restrooms, particularly in health care facilities, without having to touch the door.
Our opening systems are easy for everyone to use and they comply with regulations that apply to people with disabilities, among others.
We continue to look for innovative uses for our door opening systems in a variety of public venues. In the meantime, Clean Door Systems is making restrooms a little cleaner, safer and easier to use.
